Brewing lager with honey?
Brewing lager with honey?
Has anyone tried it? what sort of results or does it not work?
Re: Brewing lager with honey?
If it's just the taste of honey that you are after brew a Kolsch with WLP029 yeast and tell everybody that it is lager. I doubt if anyone will question it.

Re: Brewing lager with honey?
if experimenting i would suggest you start with small honey additions perhaps 100g and increase if you feel you want more flavour through, Dont just drop a 1lb jar into a brew,, i did that with molasses ONCE!! the result was an almost anticeptic licorice overtone that dwarfed any other flavour in the brew.
