Is there any reason why I can't use speedfit fittings in my equipment set up?
My local plumbers merchant said they will be o.k.
I know they're designed for use in hot and cold water supplies but thought I'd ask our experts anyway j.i.c

as in the ones intended for bars or household plumbing? Both should be fine. I just nabbed so many free JG fittings from work, they gutted all 3 bars and were throwing away everything
they are officially one of the best inventions ever

Should be OK, just don't use 'em with hot liquor/wort and unreinforced PVC tubing like someone on here did!

Cheers guys
make sure the tubing you use to connect them are food grade
The plumbers stuff I've got is the standard stuff from Wickes. It's rated to
92 deg c at 3 bar and I wont even get close to that pressure.
I assume it's food grade as it's designed for drinking supplies.
It's 'class s, p-ex' whatever that means.
Any comments
This is why I'm asking.....a sneak preview
