Whats the lowest KW elements you can get,as i'm doing 12 litre batches my 2.4 boils to vigorously causing me a lot of evaporation.

I'd have thought you'd want to fit a power controller rather than a less powerful element. You need to be able to turn it up to reach boiling point.
