corny spares "new"

Has anyone tried Sabco USA?

I've got a good response from them via e-mail.
Matt:

Yes, we will ship anywhere.
Reconditioned lids with new o'rings $11.95 each.
Reconditioned lids with used o'rings $8.95 each.

We can ship either by parcel post or UPS. Obviously, PP would be less
but will take 4-6 weeks for delivery.

We can also supply rebuild ball lock valves if you need them. New
spiders and o'rings. Gas and liquid side kit of one each:
$11.95 each.

We can supply pretty much anything you need in the way of parts.

Just let me know.

Rick
I'll be ordering a couple of new lids & a few bits in the New year - if anyone else wants anything maybe we can get an order together?

Frothers,
I could not find anything on the website but I would be interested in some 'O'ring kits if they do them. I must admit that 18 quid for a cornie clone is a bit interesting aswell. I guess the shipping may not be so nice.

I have dealt with Sabco here in the US. The kegs are magnificent! They will even give them a good polish for you.
As for o-rings here are some links to a US supplier, the prices are small and the quantities are huge - 100 count. You may want to get a group together and split up the lot.

Hi all
I emailed www.mcmaster.com and the email reply was:

Thank you for sending us this inquiry. Due to the ever-increasing complexity of U.S. Export regulations, McMaster-Carr has decided to only accept orders from a few, long-established customers of ours overseas. Your location is not in this category, and we are unable to bid on this inquiry. We regret any inconvenience this causes you.

I know who to blame for that, but 'tis for the Tap Room

At least now you know the dimensions of what you need. Certainly you can find a European distributor of o-rings.
Good luck!

I emailed them a couple of months ago and got that answer. Export regulations - yeah right. Maybe 'England' sounds like 'Iran' or 'North Korea'...

I dunno - I've had problems with ebay sales I've made to people overseas.... lots of stuff just dissapears. If I were in their position I'd probably have the same policy.

A friend toured the States in a RV they purchased over there, they decided to ship it back as they enjojed themselves so much, Planning on using it in Europe. They went to pick it up back at home only to find the inside was completely gutted :(
