Hello Frothy i used to use them for everything. Now i use them mainly for pumping water from HLT for sparging & transferring wort from mash to the boiler.And transferring from fermenter to conditioning tank when fermentation is about finnished.The RG550 sure is a beast but i have a beast of a cfc to cope 22mil x 15 mil inner
