What do you use to clean your element?
I was wondering what household products can be safely used on element to clean them up. As there is a bit of build up from previous brews, an I am afraid of it could affect the element.
I use Lime lite limescale remover (contains sulphamic acid
) works a treat, paint it on with a nylon brush leave for 1 minute while it fizzes rinse thoroughly
As an aside when I was last in the local pharmacy I asked for citric acid and was told that they would not sell it any more as it was being used for drug making
I can still buy it in the hbs though
