I believe they knew someone who was in frieght to ship them over. They were set to 40 a pallette and I believe they ordered 8 palletes which is a whole 320 kegs.
Maybe we should set that as our limit, and increase only if there's demand for a whole other pallete?
Also, there's no rush I'm sure!

Now, does anyone know anyone with freight shipping ties? Haha

Blimey, this thread moves on fast! Can you show me as having four for now (my name is on there but no quantity against it)? Might be able to manage a couple more but will have to update later if I can.
Thanks!

Before we get too carried away, some sort of plan for dealing with a fairly large sums of money and some sort of plan for storing and distributing the kegs would be good. Aberdeen to Devon is one hell of a geographical spread...

At the Risk of putting my neck on the block i am a managing director of a medium sized VAT registered business Based in Chesterfield Derbyshire
Middle of the country, Close to J29 M1
We have over 5000 square feet of warehouse space, alarmed etc.
We are used to dealing with large deliveries of several pallets
Beermonsta has been to my premises and (hopefully ) confirm i am of good character i don't mind getting involved deeper as long as i don't have to do all the donkey work by myself.
Thanks,

Cornie kegs are standard for coke dispense in pubs and clubs in Germany, so they are a lot more common there than they would be here or in the Uk.

That sounds great, If the lads at the extremes could organise their orders into a delivery from your place of full pallet loads would make things a lot simpler.

I could collect two pallet loads for Manchester area, probably my own and pas as we are quite close.

I will speak to a couple of contacts regarding good prices for pallet collections from Derbyshire to Manchester. Or I could make several collections over a week or so for price of fuel and a couple of beers. :D

The standard method for that company was 20 cornies to a pallet, the pallet was charged at €7.50.

There was not charge for packing only the pallet itself.

We asked them to pack 40 to a pallet to decrease costs, they were happy to do it.

I could shift a palette load, maybe more down Sarf. All depends what will fit in an estate car plus a 5 * 3 box trailer.

Wait and see how they handle the issue of the wrongly delivered lids.

I am waiting on them to tell me on Monday, I am hoping they just decide to post us out 174 replacement correct lids, but I suspect with those numbers they may want their incorrect lids back, and the cornies are already being distributed....so let me update you all on Monday.

Someone on the "other Irish" forum mentioned that they were "half the weight of his Cornies" (Or something like that)

That might suggest a couple of questions,

Are these branded Cornies or something else?
Are they Stainless Steel or something else?

They are pepsi cola dispensing cornies and are the ones with a rubber collar on them.

They are stainless.

The kegs are also used and not cleaned.
