burco taps

Can I replace a standard burco Boiler tap with a brass barrel or standard domestic version.
Recently our burco tap got clogged up and had to resort to syphoning out 5g of brew.
Thanks brewers.

When I had a burco, I took a look at the hole, which has flats on it, and decided the best way to go was to drill and fit a ball valve in a separate place, giving two taps, but only used the ball valve. Hope this helps

Or if the hole is not too big you could fit a tank connector and a ball valve to that
