Any Interest in Printed Bottle Caps?
Re: Any Interest in Printed Bottle Caps?
Those caps looks lovely, work in printers too though I would guess a smaller much smaller operation then the one your working in. Going to get one of the lads to design some for myself to use on my bottles just need to find the right removable label
Re: Any Interest in Printed Bottle Caps?
you've said Artwork layout. is that artwork and layout? The reason I ask is I already have my own logos so would that be a cost saving? Or are we paying for you to lay it out on the cap? I'm interested but as people have said. a little pricey (understandably ).
Re: Any Interest in Printed Bottle Caps?
I can't answer accurately for someone else but as a print designer I can have a good go.. Commercial printing isn't as simple as pressing print and watching it come out so generally speaking artwork and layout is anything from preparing the printing press to accept a complex print ready file right through to recreating a design supplied in the incorrect format or resolution.

very interested in the labels!
Only just got into home brew but would love to get labels done for our various wines/spirits... eventually beer bottle tops too.
just signed up for this thread alone
Just gotta try and come up with some sort of company logo to get printed...

I think ercol was a bit miffed with members wanting a quality product at a cheap "home brewers" price.
But who could blame him?

I made a few attempts to contact him for an idea of the commercial potential the bottle tops could offer but I had no response.
In these situations you tend to find it's actually an employee using company equipment to test out a potential sideline. When it all goes quiet it means they've been caught, moved on or realised the 200% mark up they guessed at, isn't there so got bored.

I am very interested in this, Sam.
I run a craft brewery over in France and have been looking for small run (500 to 1000 ish) printed caps. Are you ok with supplied artwork (what format suits? png, xcf ?) as I handle all of our graphics/design etc?
I'll PM you my email address.
Cheers.
EDIT LOL I just saw the last post from bigdave and then realised this was an old thread.... ratscocks. EDIT
