Gas Management Board Extension

Post by barneey » Sat Nov 23, 2013 11:48 am

For sometime now I`ve used soft drinks gas management board in my kegerator.

The board has 6 outlets designed to give 3 different pressures in a format of 1,1,4.

I always keep the first one free to enable quick gassing of kegs or for a co2 supply, so that leaves me with 5 outlet in the format 1,4 (pressures).

With the aid of another Norgren reg, it is fairly easy to extend the outputs (I`m using the ones without a gauge hence the temporary gas gauge to set the reg)

Didn't know if this info would be of any use to others, as the gas board now has 7 outlets 1,1,4,1.

I got them as a job lot, you may find them on ebay every so often - if your stuck I do have a couple spare.

As for micromatic - they arent interested in Jo Public and will just refer you to Brandells - if its on their website you can buy it - but just dont ask for anything that isnt.

Anything Micromatic spare wise is difficult to buy - try buying parts for couplers for example.

Phil,

Any luck with the valves. I could do with three for my new triple reg?

Afraid not. 6 months house extension followed by arrival of our baby boy so no brewing for a long time.
