Plastic for boiler lid?

Post by inthedark » Wed Jul 01, 2015 4:32 pm

Hi, I'd like to copy the idea at viewtopic.php?p=745044#p745044 to exhaust the steam from my boiler. I want to make sure I get the right material for the job, that won't melt or go floppy when subjected to a 90 minute boil.

Does anyone know what I should be going for, both in the material (acrylic, polycarbonate, etc) and how thick it should be?

Thanks

Paul
