The lid fitting is only galvanised but seems to be holding up well.
Managed to find it from what I need a flanged 100mm dia Stainless Steel Flanged Spigot
But the delivery charge is 12.95 !!!

http://www.ductstore.co.uk

Might just have to go with galvanised.

Your image seems to be in a secure/hidden location - I can't see it. Though no doubt its going to be some shiny thing or similar to tempt me, so probably just as well

Check out the automotive industry as they have an excellent array of silicone / alloy pipes that can be made to work.

This is an aluminium air induction pipe for a performance car and at around £15 delivered, not that expensive, in the global scene of things.

The pipe gives a nice sweeping angle and pretty much eleminates any condensation getting back into the boil. In my previous config, I had the silicone flexible hose connected directly to the dome lid but this resulted in a very tight angle on the pipe and i suspects some condensation being allowed back into the boil.

Only used this config once buy have to say, I was really impressed with it. Nice flow of steam out of the end of the pipe and little or no pooling of condensation.
Fermenting - Nothing
Conditioning - Nothing
Drinking - Tea
Planning - Everything, if only I had the time ... !!

eBay, here's the item number 291566158360 (just copy the number into the eBay search bar). It's a 135 degree 102mm alloy hose.
