I did see that above or in another thread. Do you need to switch washers in and out depending on the bottle being used? Is that easy?

Very easy. PET requires no washer. Glass requires the washer to be fitted

That's a good video cheers! I think I'm sold on the pegas now, going to save up and get a pegas evolution.

Just for clarity the Original Evolution will come with a standard plastic bottom part, this will except PET maybe some glass, although a metal spacer washer will help.

The picture of the one I posted was my adapted handmade model, hence the extra (double) "evolution" part.

Which is fully adjustable for most bottles

OR this for the odd size bottles = Leffe Bottles.

I did even make one for the flip top type although in operation it involved too much flaff.

A simple metal washer will work but a purpose made thing saves time and washer slippage.

If you have a look for the owners manual, part 34 is the bottle holder bit & it does from memory give a height, it might be worth asking Pegas if they sell different / variants of this part?

http://www.craftbeergrowlers.ie/pegas-evolution/

As for selling them :| nope these were more of a one off to suit my own requirements (mainly for the leffe bottle size).

To make, stainless tube, stainless washer, 6mm stainless bolt.

Cut tube to 65 / 60mm length, cut out section of washer to except bottle diameter, cut out section of tube to except bottle height, silver solder (or weld) washer to tube, drill & tap hole to except a 6mm thumb turn & 6mm original screw from Pegas.

NOTE placement of hole is VERY important, a fraction in any direction makes alot of difference.

If you just want a simple washer

Note the Originals & CRO do have a slightly different size bottle holder so adjust the washer to suit your make.

Ali do exactly the same thing, no idea if its original or the one you linked to is the same?

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/beer-bot ... .61.E9ajYx

The Ali pictures are better & so is the description, especially the bit about the adaptor, they have been around for the last 6 to 9 months but as far as I know have not been reviewed on a UK HB forum.

The same problem will exist in the type of glass bottle they take unless the "adaptor" is adjustable.

Just waiting for someone to buy one to review.

Just one other thing for anyone reading this thread, if you do see a CRO filler in a nice green presentation box on AliExpress DONT buy one, they fxxked up the internal mould and to get it to work you need to drill out some plastic / fill part of a hole with waterweld putty.

well My Cheap Chinese Pegas Copy Arrived on Friday, less than 2 weeks after ordering and it seems pretty well made. Set it up today and tested it with a few PET Bottles which is handy as I am going round to a friends house later for Sunday Lunch so wont arrive empty handed. not bad for £27 inc. postage .. Now I just need to make a spacer to fill glass bottles
