Can someone explain my regulator?

QUOTE (mysterio @ Aug 18 2006, 10:42 AM)Niall, Norm said the regulator goes up to 40 psi. I'm just going to play it by ear I reckon, crank it up a bit at a time (until it explodes  )

In that case I'll wait a week and see if you're still posting before I crank mine up :)

Hi Niall, Norm supplied my reg, it also has screws, but mines also got gauges.

Turn the screw fully anticlockwise. This shuts the gas off.

Turn the screw clockwise to allow the gas to flow, the more you turn the screw the higher the pressure in the corny.

When the screw will turn clockwise no more you've reached the limit of your regulator, whatever that's set at.

You can test this without a corny attached. Just attach your gas line to the reg and follow the above steps allowing the gas to vent to the atmosphere.

Hope this helps B)
