Hello all.
My brew is ready to be trasfered into my cornie, I need the room, but I do not have a CO2 regulator yet. I know that purging the air out of the cornie is recommended, but I was wondering how important it was. I am planning on purging/charging when I do get the regulator. This could be as soon as this week.
Im going to leave it to stand for 2-4 weeks (hopefully 4) and then I'm not sure how long it will last.
How long will beer last for in cornies when it is either a) purged, B) not purged immediately or c) not purged at all?
Many thanks for any help.
Chris

Well I filled it up right near to the top and lubed the main ring. Now just the long wait. Had a pint left over and it tastes ok. Def needs a while though.
