Chiller here and now not sure if it was such a good idea, but I am sure I can say that George_Peppard line at then end and I love a Challenge don't you? that was not what he said by the way.

Managed to cobble together an old chopping board and 4 copper pipes, and I have built a model of Battersea power station? :shock:

have pressure tested it in water and guess what, no bubbles, so good to go as a test, I'll get a choping board and use a pillar drill next time.
Pic to come as I have lost my USB lead to the childrens telephone's AGAIN!!! :twisted:

Polythene chopping boards are a useful and cheap source of donor material...

Wow, very nice work Gary. I like the chiller; you just need to string an inflatable pig between the posts and strum a few Floyd tunes. :) :wink:
How fast and efficient are those plate chillers and whats the purpose of the plastic lamiate over the top? I use an IC made from 25m copper but its shocking the amount of water i waste in the 20 mins it takes to get down to temp, especially in the warm weather, so if this is much faster i would love to make one.
