Dont suppose u know if 12g air pistol cylinders will work? most iv seem are different sizes.
Over all then with a cylinder at home and thoses pen cylinder things i should be able to transport the cornie hastle free.
Thanks for the help guys if i think of any more silly questions ill be back lol

So yes, they work with 12g cartridges and I've used one with a cartridge intented for an air pistol. One thing to ensure is that the cartridge doesn't contain any lubricant as I believe some gun cartridges do. You'll also need a grey THREADED outlet CO2 cornie disconnect to screw the inflater into - this isn't supplied with the inflater. Pretty easy to get hold of.

ah ok i was thinking it might be risky to buy the co2 bottle norm is selling.
Im at university in plymouth at moment but nearly finished so going back to poole dorset.
I found a sir products site near me in ferndown and it has a image of a beer so i assume they offer the service but waiting till tommorow to see prices from the email i sent them.
when u payd £16 was that the initial price? no deposit? rental? and how much to fill each time?
I wont be brewing vast amounts yet so a small cylinder will suffice i think.
Also from what u know does the cornis with the taps etc norm is sellign on ebay also include the fixings needed to connect straight to a cylinder?
so all i need to do is fill with beer and fill cylinder and im off?

ah cool just checked and thats not too far at all.
so i just pay £16 and i get a full cylinder? and its £16 to fill each time?
no deposit or rental? id thought ud pay more firstime as ur having a cylinder as well as gas.
I assume its ok to tell them whats its for etc??
think ill purchase a cori then, only problem is ill get it now but wont be able to use it for a while so hope norms reconditioned ones tend to norm work fine.
does he have a steady supply of them if i decide to wait a while?

one more thing i messaged norm and he said will sell me the corni and a regulator for 80 however iv not seen a regulator like his b4.
it has no gauge on it and he said its a 8/12 psi and u dont need to change pressure etc as its used in pubs?
should i get this or go for an ajustable one?
he says itll cost a lot more than 20 for adjustable on
cheers

OK i took the plung and bought a corni of Norm for £59 with all the fixings n tap.
Im looking for a regulator at the moment and found this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WELDING-REGULATOR ... dZViewItem
iv emailed the seller to ask if it measures pressure and not flow.
If so is this a good buy???
All i need then is a Co2 source. Im in plymouth at moment at uni and found a air products here so gonna see if they will sell.
If not ill wait till im home in easter and pop to salisbury for one.

ah ok, once all the gear is here ill take some pics and try n sus all that out.
i take it norms corni has a line to fill it with gas so i assume it already attaches to the gas diconect in and so the barb is to connect to the regulator??
I assume the regulator will fit any cylinder i recieve via the female connector.
if that regulator in my link is in psi does it look fine and at a good price?
cheers
