I can't remember if these have to be mounted horizontally or not. If they can be vertical could you mount it in one of the back corners vertically.

Very true...awalker wrote:Dont be, I am sure you will get some good use out of it for about 2/3 rds of the year in this country.FutureBrewer wrote: Well, since finishing it, I've realised I have no practical way of keeping it cool when the summer arrives... Depressed now...

If the cupboard is going to be fitted into the kitchen like mine is, why not use the insulation for the back of unit on the back of the unit... i.e. the outside of the cupboard.Dribble wrote:Basically, once the insulation is fixed in the cupboard it is literally only just deep enough to fit an FV inside (depth of cupboard will be 34cm and diameter of FV is 32cm).
Insulate the inside - sides, top, bottom and door as I've done, but insulate the back on the outside...
Usually, the unit isn't as deep as the worksurface, so there should be room to add a layer of insulation to the back (which in my case is just hardboard...)
That might be the answer...

The instructions that came with my heater say it shouldn't be used vertically...Runwell-Steve wrote:I can't remember if these have to be mounted horizontally or not. If they can be vertical could you mount it in one of the back corners vertically.
