How long do you find delivery takes from the likes of NB & Morebeer?

Depends. I usually pay extra for airmail which usually costs a fiver or so more and takes about a week (extra if Customs want their pound of flesh).

Surface mail takes a month.

Stopped by Northern Brewers a couple of months ago (as well as their competitor Midwest Homebrewing Midwest Hombrewing Supply.

Northern Brewers actual store was surprisingly small and crammed with customers. I guess they do their net business out of a different location. Great customer service at the store.

Unfortunately they are about the nearest brew supplier that I will use (the local falls way short in terms of both service and price) takes me about 3 1/2 hours to get there.

So why are some folks on here moaning about a 1 hour trip each way for supplies

My brew store I guess is about 1 1/4 hour trip each way. I have no problems with that.

The £5 the Hop Shop charge to post stuff is cheaper than the petrol to my nearest one.
