Almost as cheap as making it yourself but definately easier.

Run an extension socket/lead into your fermentor cupboard, plug this baby in, then plug a light bulb into this baby....sorted.

Snug happy fermenting yeast 8)

Can't say how good they are because I haven't tried them yet, the PID is a tiny 7cmx4cmx3cm and the SSR's were 2nd hand but working order.

I love the light bulb idea - you could still hook one up to a PID :)
