Since it is coming from China expect it to take at least 2 weeks, maybe 3-6.

Right well we aren't using it in anger today as decided to only make one beer. However we dropped it into f00b4rs buffalo and measured the temp inside and outside the basket and it doesn't affect the boil at all. Wort seems to flow freely through it as well so I would say it will work well.

I suppose as long as there aren't any holes in it it should be fine.
As I said at the top, the p&p is usually more than the cost of this one

Tbh Orlando I'd complain to ebay and say it arrived in such a state you couldn't use it. You'll get a refund

Demig's arrived in the same sort of state-owned and it just pushed out, I am guessing they didn't want to spend the money protecting it properly.

I checked for that and it doesn't appear to have any. I have tried pushing it out but it is never going to look like the original picture. If they refund completely I will have no complaint, even if I get only 1/2 I won't complain any further. Have raised it so will feedback when I get a comment. It is important to complain because even if it puts the price up it will raise confidence in buying from China. They have to learn price isn't everything, quality is required to. As long as we keep buying that's the only justification needed.

It is at least a lot bigger than I was expecting, word was it isn't long enough but it sits on the bottom of my 70l kettle and the hook reaches the top to hook over. If it had arrived in perfect condition I would have been really impressed.
