try going to the old weaved site. I found that since I hadn't updated some installation files, my service was pointed there and not showing at remote.it. Same service that has been ported (same login worked on the weaved site), and the Pi was showing. Assuming here of course that you have got the service running on the Pi?

I just tried this on my work computer and it has found the device. I will ssh into it tonight and set it up properly! Thanks again Matt for all your help with this, it is not as daunting as I first imagined when I looked into it 2 years ago but still something I need guidance with which I really appreciate.

You should be able to just click on your device and see your Pi, assuming it is running? It's quite useful, and apparently adequately secure - although not something I worry too much about as I doubt many Russian hacking syndicates are going to devote too much time to ruining my beer!

OK - sounds like you have set up an SSH connection. I didn't do that, I just set up HTTP over port 80 so when I click on my device it jumps straight to the Brewpi webpage (from weaved). I only ssh in on my home network.

Right, got you. I followed the standard install which suggested option 1 (I think). I'll play around tonight and see. Thanks again.

No worries. Yeah I think you can set multiple methods up, and they will just show as different devices in your weaved page. I never bothered with ssh as I can't see me needing to configure things over the web.
