I currently use a Haulier (Vernon Land Transport) they are based in yorkshire. They often have empty trailers comming back empty from Germany so i could ask if they could arrange a back load.I know the MD very well so im sure he would do us a good deal ;) I also use Europa World wide,if you can get me a collection address and weights and dims i could get some prices. I am more than happy to help out if needed .

That sounds useful Lee.

I'll try and find out the weight, EoinMag may know as this conversation has probably already happened. As for dimensions they are on Euro Pallets and are stacked approx 5 foot high.

They come like this.

The weight did not come into it with my dealings, I had nothing to do with the courier, I only spoke to the Germans. Talk to John luc.[/quote

Would you have the collection address ?

We have a spreadsheet here with the latest list of who wants what

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub ... utput=html
Any chance I can up my order from 4 to 6? If I'm going to get grief from SWMBO for accumulating shiny things I may as well make sure I've got as many as I can get away with...

I may now also be able to get access to a trailer, in return for a couple of beers for the driver, if that helps with distribution to the staffs / telford / wolves area, possibly down towards Birmingham. Looking at the relatively small numbers involved at those locations it might all fit in the car anyway.

EDIT: Just spotted Geezah's post a few pages back, looks like between us we could sort something out for our local area - PM sent!

I'll provide details once I've spoken to Steve, forgive me for holding back but I'd rather know who's who and who's doing what before we start passing details out to all and sundry.

Suffices to say presently for a pricing for shipping the address is 49740 Haselünne

I forgot to add I have 2 garages that can used for storage space.

One garage can hold 2 pallets and the other will hold about another 2 (but this one is just outside Liverpool about 10 miles in Formby)

I dont mind being a central collection point for the North West just as long the kegs are collected asap as the garages are need for other stock.

ALL KEGS ACCOUNTED FOR.

Hi all.

We are recieiving quotes to bring 640 kegs into the UK from the supplier in Germany.

We now have 651 kegs accounted for, so accepting a few people may drop out we think we now have enough names.

As soon as we have some confirmed prices, and a decision on who to send the money to I will update.

Any further names will be addd to the reserve list.

Mail the thread starter of the original thread, John Luc, he should know or at least be able to find it out.
