Damn...mitre saw died and I ran out of wood. Still...there's always Sunday and homebase in Kings Lynn.

I got some more wood and finished it. Now there's just a lot of tedious varnishing to do...

And with vessels....

It will have castors on it when it's varnished.

Hopefully before christmas. This weekend was the first proper weekend of brewery building. Up til now I've been messing about making a space for it to go in.

Nice woodworking skills! The best I could manage was a rickety book case when I was at school. :( (It took me about a year)

I was rubbish in woodwork at school as well. All I managed to make was a pencil case. I was always better in metalwork. :)

Notice in the stand, the complete lack of complicated joints or anything. It's all straight bits and bloody big screws!

Ah, when I saw the phrase "mitre saw" I was expecting all kinds of fancy joints ! 8)

It was one of those power mitre saws. It can cut angles but it also does 90degree cuts a damn sight faster than me and a handsaw. This would of course have been useful when cutting all those bloody slats! :x

Never happened Andy

Sight tube stuff turned up, drilled holes, fitted, and constant leaks.
Got some JB weld as 7 had used, and leak problem sorted.

Realised on Saturday I didn't have a 60ltr fermentor, got one now.

Main problem was hose, that's arrived today. New stand made for HERMS today.

Hopefully fully operational for tomorrow.

Still waiting for some JG fittings to arrive, but that won't stop me
