Oh well, it was a bit too good to be true. I'm not sure I really want a grain mill that much at the moment. I've decided the only reason I would want to get one was if I was able to get hold of uncrushed grain really cheap, for example from a microbrewery.
I've not got an e-mail yet, so I'm not even sure my order went through though.
£25 for a crusher still seems like a good price. The hb shop in Edinburgh sells a 25kg bag of uncrushed malt for £18. When you compare this against £1.30 per kg of the crushed stuff (thats £32.50 for 25kg). Therefore it would pay for itself within 2 bags.
The website mistake reminds me of the Argos problem when they were advertising 32" Plasma TV's for a fiver. Overnight they had orders for thousands of them. A bloke I know looks after the internet infrastructure at Argos and got called out overnight as one of the systems had filled up with all the orders. He had a look at the messages that were queuing up and thought to himself that there was obviously something wrong with selling a 32" TV for a fiver and alerted the business before the orders were actually processed. Anyway, Argos still had the PR disaster of contacting all the disgruntled people who had ordered multiple TV's

Looks like someone is reselling one on Ebay! (at a marked up price of course
)
Claims a pound per minute crush rate....

You could express interest in the item, ask the seller if it's possible to attach a drill (get him to try....) and then buy from t'interweb at cheaper price
Edit: If you want a "larger" hopper then there's one on Ebay also

I never heard from them, despite placing an order and getting a reference number; not that I'm bothered as I've decided I can't be ar$ed with crushing my own grain.
I'm guessing the person flogging them on ebay must have bought a few though, as an order for one comes to £24ish, including postage and vat etc., not really worth the hassle if they end up selling them for £29.
