I ended up using an old style coffee grinder adjusted to near max opening and put a drill to it. Did 4K this morning for a brew and it took about 20 mins (fiddly cos it doens't really want more than a coffee pot full!). I've had mixed success - I'm about 1/4 way through that 25K bag - and thinking of a couple of strong IPA's to finish it!
