11.5l Cornies

Post by Seveneer » Mon Oct 23, 2006 12:25 pm

Hi,

Do any of you lot use the 11.5 litre cornies that Hop and Grape sell?

I have just ordered a few so I can give one each to my father and Brother-in-law for Christmas together with a voucher offering "A year's supply of free beer". :D

I'd be interested to hear from anyone else who has these and what they feel are the pros and cons of having the smaller kegs.

Thanks,

/Phil.

Yeah, I'm hoping the lids are the same as the 19l versions so I can give them an S30 cylinder and an adapted lid too. Oh and a tap as I have several around.

It gives Phil more excuses to use that shiny kit and even add to it!

I end up throwing away a few litres each time I brew. This is because I don't bottle very often and after filling two cornies there's always some left over.

So this overwhelming gesture of generosity won't hit the supplies too hard at all. 8)

As an aside, I do have a phenominal amount of beer in stock right now. I have no idea where I'm going to put the brew Andy witnessed on Saturday :?

thats a cool christmas present. I'm quite keen to use some of those mini kegs as a back-pack dispenser. Not sure where I'd ever use it though.
