CO2 in Leeds

Post by AngloScot » Fri Nov 28, 2008 3:53 pm

Does anyone know of a reliable source for CO2 cylinders in Leeds? There doesn't seem to be any places listed in the main thread relating to CO2 suppliers. I have tried Waverley but they won't supply to non-licensed trade. [-X

As I'm not a major brewer I'd be looking for one of the smaller cylinders (3.15kg) if at all possible and obviously I'd prefer to avoid rental and go down the deposit/refill route.

Thanks in advance!

Abbey wines. He does the 'soda stream' bottles for 16.99 and 5.00 for a refill. He's expensive i think? Dunno if that is 3.15kg though.

Edit: In kirkstall, right on the crossroads near Morrisons, and a few doors down from the 'knocking shop', at least it looks like one!

Narangs Wholesalers in Bradford do pub gas if that's what you're after. They are based at the end of Sunbridge Road before the junction with Thornton Road.

I use H B Clarke in Robin Hood - about 8 miles from Leeds city centre.

Sherwood Industrial Estate
Leeds Rd
Robin Hood
Wakefield
WF3 3EL
Tel: 0113 2827922

No account required - a 6Kg bottle costs about £10 + vat + deposit, which is either £10 or £20 depending what type of bottles they've got available.

Thanks for the replies folks. Yes it was pub gas I was looking for. I'll chase up some of these leads.

Cheers! =D>
