Post by RabMaxwell » Tue Nov 07, 2006 9:20 am

Hello all i want to fit a metal dial thermometer through the side of my mash tun.But where would be the best place to fit half way up or nearer the top for the most accurate reading.Any ideas. Cheers

I would try to get it about midway up a typical mash to try and get the temperature of the core.

Rab if you find one of those thermometers please let me know - I've been looking for one for ages! Hop&Grape sell the Blikman Brewmometer but it's only in farenheit

What a great idea. I am going to use my meat thermometer from my BBQ.
