Long Racking Cane

I have just aquired a long stainless steel racking cane,any ideas on how to sanitize the thing,its far too long to go in any container I have.

I put mine in a fermenting bin full of steriliser or just do it half and half in a smaller container. Some people use a wall paper paste trough.

I'm really careful to rinse and sterilise mine straight after use so theres no build up. Don't rinse the steriliser and leave it damp. next time I just pour a little steriliser in it and rinse.
