Interesting DaaB. I didn't realise that the flojet pumps could be fed with compressed air (seems obvious now  ). I have a small (4cfm) compressor that I use with some air tools so that's not a problem.

Anyone know what kind of flow rate these pumps have and whether they can take hot liquids?

Pretty sure the 12v compressor won't work with a pump.
They are rated up to 80psi but the ones at work are run between 30 & 45psi.
You need a constant pressure so a compressor with a tank & a gas reg ideally. B&Q have a little one for £45 at the moment (made by slave labour no doubt.)
They are self priming & designed for cool & non-corrosive liquids.
