Beer engine problem....or not

Post by redmire fc » Mon Jan 08, 2007 11:08 pm

Hello beerdos.. afraid I haven't had the time to be more sociable, but beer brewing is such an exciting art I just want to know the answers and get on with it... anyway...When U buy beer in polypins they say drink in 3 to 4 weeks....I want to hook my knew beer engine up to one.. would submerging the poly in water prevent o2 permeability.....or not? Always with the weird questions.....

No. I'm no chemist but I'm sure there's free O2 molecules in water. SUrely you can manage a polypin in a few weeks.
