Good thinking Jim, just been and fished mine out of the bin! Does that mean the contents of yours are empty ? Looking forward to reading about it elsewhere....

Jim
links for 20l polypins (you can get 25l in there)
http://www.art-of-brewing.co.uk/acatalog/intro.html (and its this VINOTAINER 20 LITRE, WINE DISPENSER (Reference #1473) near the bottom) it says not suitable for beer but thats so that people dont try adding priming sugar in there!

http://www.leylandhomebrew.com/item990.htm (20 l vinotainer)

more here http://www.homebrewshop.co.uk/Merchant2/merchant.mv?

basically you need to search for vinotainer not polypin. these are the exact same ones as you would get if you ordered a polypin from a brewery

Ta for the links.

Well, I got some plumbing o rings that fit perfectly (B&Q), so I'm going with those.

I've used some siphon tubing to connect it up to a 2L pop bottle and flushed and sanitised it; all I need now really is my sparkler (and drip tray) to make my life complete. 8)

Hi there Babalu, the manufacturer's website sends you to this site where a cork spare set is available for GBP2.94 - you'd need to check what they would charge to ship to the states.

A rarity here in the states I guess

I contacted the Fullers distributor here in the states but it has gone ignored so far

Maybe I'll beg the barmaid next time I'm here:

How to get at that o-ring on the left?

Strap wrench, righty tighty lefty loosey?

Mine still has a touch of "taint" to it

Thanks

FYI Next time your there tell them that their menu "British Traditions" is wrong. Shepheards pie is made from lamb not beef!!
If it were Beef it would be a Cottage Pie :)

Lambs not very popular here........... I love the stuff and would love to find a place with a nice thick Mutton chop
