I like the sound of this! After looking at DaaB's mini mash, I had a search for more online (not that I trust your methods Daab, just not got all the equipment yet :D). I managed to find this:

Not much different to using a 2L jug and a kettle really :)
Digital thermometer is pretty essential

somewoman at work brought in a coffee maker and it has sat in the office for nearly two months and collected dust I think it needs redesignating :twisted:

James McCrorie tests malt for extract by mashing in a cafitiere coffee maker. After the mash time has elapsed, you simply plunge, and run the wort of the grains like pouring a coffee :)
