It looks to have been removed from yet another closed down pub, and was complete with enough "history" to keep Time Team busy for a week!
Thursday I stripped it down and thoroughly cleaned it and after some indecision I ordered a set of seals to finish the referb.
The issue I am having is that when I pump water through I get a leak around the piston at the top. The new seals haven't yet arrived and I am hoping that this will do the trick.
Does anyone have any experience with hand pump beer engines and fixing this sort of leak? Any suggestions would help at this stage!
