How come in the States you can still buy used cornies for £43 and top of the range new Italian ones for £76 with shipping to anywhere in America for £4. 50

Would the reason the Italian ones are so expensive here, be because of VAT then?

I've got a boat big enough to fit hundreds of cornies on.
Mind you, it does only do 3 mph. Um, how far is this "America" of which you speak?

I've seen new italian kegs for £90 ish from a uk company. Taking into account their margin, it must be possible to get close to £75 for a large batch.
