STC 1000

Post by Barn Stormer » Tue Jul 09, 2013 8:00 pm

Hi Got all the parts on order for my brew fridge. I see the STC 1000 has a compressor delay from 0 - 30 minutes. Anyone have any idea what setting is right for this? It seems straightforward to set it up but any hints/tips very welcome!!

As far as I know its to stop the compressor switching on/off too frequently, preventing it overheating?

Yep its to prevent damaged to the compressor apparently they don't like being switched on & off rapidly.

+1 for 3 mins. Pretty sure that's the default I've never had to change any of mine
