Small keg options

Post by dean_wales » Thu Sep 05, 2013 9:28 pm

Hi guys,

I nearly have phase one of my dispense set up set up but need to aquire a small keg for those stronger batches or for force carbing a few litres etc.

At the moment I have a 50 litre sankey keg for main batches of ale and a firking which I had intended to use with my beer engine but may now get rid of.

What I need is a 5 to 10 litre approx stainless keg or similar. It has to be able to take high pressures and I would prefer a sankey fitting to a corny fitting etc but will settle for anything.

I have seen the small cornies which are ideal in all but their insane £75 price tag. An alternative and cheaper options would be welcome????

Dean.
