corny keg q
hey folks, i'm still pretty much out of the brewing game, but have a keg that has a coopers lager in that i haven't touched yet. i've been invited to a bit of an impromptu party where i think the beer would go down well, so was going to take it along. should it be possible to gas up the keg, and dispense most of the beer without adding gas or should i look at finding a way to take the gas bottle and all those gubbins too?
Fermenting: Russian Imperial Stout experiment, Raspberry turbo cider, Wilko Rose wine, Plum wine
Keg1: Coopers Euro Lager

You'll need the gas if you want to dispense the whole thing. If you put a ton of pressure you'll just be dispensing foam.
Ive done it by taking a large bucket fermentor and putting the keg and the gas tank in the fermentor. This Makes it hard to knock over the gas bottle!

Just buy yourself one of those hand held gas units which takes the gas bulbs. (take a pack of bulbs with you)
