The answer to your question will depend on which country you are in, and I guess that since you said 'faucet' you're in the US??
Most of us here are from Britain, which has gone metric, but maybe one of our US members knows the answer.
Maybe if you measured the diameter of the tap thread and also the number of threads per inch we could work it out.
