I used this diagram first time as it looked like an easy one to follow, there is a mistake in the heat/cool. Doesn't matter but if you've already marked up your heat and cool sockets before wiring up it is.

Some temp controllers have the heat/cool terminals the other way round so I would assume yours is simply different to the one in the diagram.
As you say though....it's no big deal
