Just out of curiosity did you try a brew before filtering the water?

What size are they? Do you then make the water profile back up to fit a brew?

I have always filtered it since making kits.

I have just sent a sample away for analysis so I'll be looking at water in more depth when I get the results.

Just knocked up a compact STC that I'm going to use when the fridge is full.

Should control ok with a plastic bin sat on a heat mat during the colder months.

Is it a reverse osmosis filter? Depending on your water analysis you could find all this superfluous as you will be removing ions you then have to put back in. Given it cost you nothing that might not matter.

RIMS installed....well the mechanical side anyway. Going to see if I can squeeze the PID and SSR into the panel but it's s bit busy in there.

Hoping to prevent hot side aeration with the hose in the tun. According to our American cousins, it works just fine. Even for sparging to the ugly copper manifold may be binned.
