SS Stock pot pricing.

Post by bigdave » Fri Aug 22, 2014 11:18 pm

Can anyone advise on what would be a reasonable price to pay for a 50-60l SS stock pot and/or recommend a reliable supplier?

Cheers

I got mine from here for about 50 euros for a 70l pot

They don't ship directly to the uk but you can have a parcel forwarding service such as http://www.mailboxde.com send it on. It cost me an extra 30 euros for this on top of their shipping charge (around 6 euros) but I also bought a 50L thermos pot so had a much bigger parcel.

Of course you do then need to do all the modding yourself.

Thanks for that info. i might give this a try, i was thinking of getting a couple of thermos pots, but out of principle am reluctant to buy through a re-re-seller

when catering portal did ship to the UK they were very open to offering an off ebay direct sale at a lower price taking into consideration the saving of ebay auction costs. if thinking of buying from them and using the redirect service, it may be worthwhile a speculative email along the lines of any discount for multiple buys??

Wyvern - great work around..

Let me know how you get on with that as I could do with a thermopot but not at current prices around.
