Hi, just been out to the garage to get my stuff in for the next brew and looks like a mouse has been to work. I stupidly left a bag of sugar near my stuff and it looks like the bloody thing has been wearing its teeth down on the lid of my fermenter so have a couple of holes in it.
Rather than wait and source for a replacement , would I be ok with some cling film covering the bucket until I get a new one?
Was thinking about filling the holes with some silicone sealant in the meantime too.
Incidentally looks like the mouse O.D'd on the suagr as it's was dead next to mess it made.
Thanks

Tea towel will do the job too, just put a elastic band around it.
