Post by far9410 » Thu Apr 16, 2015 9:32 pm

Hi All

I would like to make a mash paddle, using a left over floorboard. it is made from a mahogany type of wood, and all i can remember is that it is a german variety.
do you think this is safe to use ? :)
no palate, no patience.

Most mash paddles are made of hard wood, mahogany would be ok but not perfect. ..but you need to find what wood you have and if it's been treated!
