It's never leaked. I don't have the same boiler though it is curved. Here is the thread of me tighting up the KM8 locknut. viewtopic.php?t=73256 the photo doesn't realy show the round section at the bottom.

Cheers. I remember reading that post a few weeks back. Think i may go for a 50l and leccy upgrade
