Are these, and beer line, OK with boiling wort?

I have JG elbows for the sight glass on my boiler, they work fine.

I'd say they are not suitable for boiling wort but you can check the specs on the John Guest website. I do use some beer line and a JG adapter as a sight glass in my boiler without issue but I'd be less keen if they were carrying hot liquid.

speedfit type fittings have a limited number of expected seal/diconnect cycles, something like 15-20x, which is ample to allow a novice plumber to arrange/rearrange his pipework a couple of times, but not enough to make them a valid option for brewday quick-ish disconnects.

however i have used the 15mm type on the exit/drain from my tun as their rotation ability make them ideal for an adhoc valentines arm ;)
