Can you blend gas this way?

Post by chris2012 » Sun Feb 19, 2017 9:57 pm

I was just talking to someone about whether you could do the following:

N2 gas cylinder ---- N2 regulator -----one way valve-------

CO2 gas cylinder ---- CO2 regulator --one way valve------

the one way valves would be connected via a t-piece to ---------- keg -------------------- nitro taps

Could that potentially work, or is it a very bad idea?

(I personally have beer gas which I'm happy with, just wondering if the above could work)

Edit:

I just found this:

"Mixers, such as those made by Smith, factor in the "specific gravity" of the gases involved to arrive at a percentage mix."
