I'm looking to get some kettle elements complete with leads from Exserve. They've said they've got different types. Which ones did people on here order?
BTW, my local Wilkos had cordless kettles at £5.50 last weekend. They don't have a lead (obviously) but the elements are identical to the ones the corded kettles used.

Tesco's have 2.2Kw corded kettles in at the moment at £4.44 each. A friend of mine picked up 2 for me today. So I can get boiler making soon, although just need to get a tap now.

We're on our third Argos kettle now in just over a year! They keep breaking. Cheap elements from China probably but I don't mind as long as Argos keep replacing them for free

My experience of exserve, as recommended by DaaB, was extremely good.
If it helps SF I can supply the reference of the lady I spoke to. She was very helpful

Yes please vossy - have not given up on them yet as they were having problems with supplier but it would appear proactive order tracking is not top of their priorities ( although deducting bank accounts is

)

Hi Bigster, The person who processed my order was M Adams.
My order number was 286 786.
If anyone wants to order any elements/leads from exserve, just use the order ref above but change the quantities to your own

I bought a 2.4kW kettle element from my LHBS a few months back to use in my heat exchanger. No doubt I paid twice or even three times as much as you guys are paying for yours but I think it's worth it to walk into a shop I'm going to anyway and walk out with exactly what I want with out having to dismantle a kettle or wait weeks for someone to send it to me. In the grand scheme of thigs the extra cash wasn't going to break the bank.
I love a bargain as much as the next guy but I also like to get what I want when I want it
/Phil.

I think I paid about 15 quid for mine. Yeah you can get them cheaper but the tenner, at most, you save isn't worth the hassle, in my book. But then, I have spent rather a lot of money of shiny things
