I recently bought a Buffalo CP799 "Heavy Duty 3KW Induction Hob" but it switches itself off after around 2 hours of simmering.
The user manual says "If the appliance is switched on with inactivity for 2 hours, it will switch off automatically."
Common sense would dictate that actively boiling a pot should not count as "inactivity" but it does.
Does anyone know if there's a way to disable this (extremely annoying) auto-shutoff?
Thank you.
P.S. the user manual is here: https://media.nisbets.com/asset/en/media/user manual cp799.pdf

Any way to disable the 2-hour time limit on the Buffalo CP799 3kw induction hob?

Can you not just turn it down slightly and then back up after say 90 minutes? Guessing that they mean activity to be user interaction.
